Unlike typical covers that use 2 layers of thick, polar fleece, Sugar Peas thinner fabric affords a great TRIM fit, even in the two layer design.

How do fleece diaper covers work? Fleece is 100% polyester, which means it is not absorbent. The manufacturer has figured out how to make this fabric water resistant. It breathes like wool and lets air through, but resists moisture leaking.
When the diaper becomes very saturated, the cover will start to sweat and your child's clothes will feel moist or 'sweaty.' However, they never leave those huge wet spots you can get when a PUL type covers leaks. These can be machine washed and dried unlike wool, however Windpro is not a natural fiber.
