Punkin-Butt is run by a work at home mom and her family in Oregon. With the birth of her first child becoming imminent, she knew she would not be able to return to work and leave her newborn in the care of strangers. Finances required her to find a source of income that would allow her to work from home. Through contacts at the Waterbirth Center, she found Punkin-Butt and knew it was a business she could support 100%, both physically and philosophically. Her family has a strong belief in natural living. From eating healthy, organic foods whenever possible to using homeopathics and renewable resources.

After years of learning to be an advocate for her own health, she now knows the importance of fighting for her child’s well-being especially when it comes to being in opposition to mainstream society’s thinking. From choosing natural childbirth outside of a hospital to attachment parenting, using cloth diapers, and breastfeeding.

Punkin-Butt believes in supporting parents in their pursuit of caring for their children in the way they see fit. No matter where your beliefs fall, from the completely organic and natural lifestyle to the occasional dabbler just learning what this is all about. We are all growing and learning together.
